Wicker Serving Ware Rectangular Tray with Glass Bottom

Expertly handwoven by artisans in remote South Pacific villages, this piece showcases the beauty and durability of watervines (also called vignes d’eau). Found only in hard-to-reach mountain jungles, these vines are carefully harvested in a way that allows them to grow back quickly, ensuring sustainability and respect for native forests.

At just 3 millimeters in diameter—one-fourth the thickness of typical rattan—watervines take artisans 1–7 days to weave into a single finished design. The result is a product that is more durable, heat-resistant, and refined than traditional rattan, making it both practical and elegant.
